Kwame Dawes was born in Ghana and raised in Jamaica. He is the author of fourteen books of poetry and many books of fiction, nonfiction, criticism, and drama, including Gomer's Song; and editor of several anthologies of poetry, including So Much Things To Say.
Kellie Magnus is a Jamaican children's book author. Her books are part of the BookStart Jamaica early childhood program given to newborns by the Government of Jamaica as well as the Literacy 123 collection used in Jamaican primary schools. She is also the author of the popular Little Lion series. She serves on the boards of the National Library of Jamaica, the Early Childhood Commission, and the Book Industry Association of Jamaica.
