This volume contains a collection of Jewish works composed during the intertestamental period linked to biblical texts through characters, themes, or genre. Some of these were known previously as part of the Pseudepigrapha, while others were not previously known. Although a good number of the texts in this volume have already been published in preliminary form, the exemplary learning and care with which they are here presented continues to offer new challenges to the scholar of Second Temple Judaism.
