Summer is the season when lawns magically come aglow with the yellow light of the little lightning bug. This story allows us to imagine the life of Rodney, who would rather play with friends than listen and learn his lessons. It takes a serious misstep to teach Rodney why it is important to listen, but in the end Rodney learns.
