Lesson plans
Suggestions for how to divide up the material provided in the program into lessons. These pull together tasks in the Student Edition, Teacher’s Edition, Assessment Book, Workbook, various worksheets and Teacher's Resource Book. There are also ideas for homework.
Workbook answer keys
Answer keys for activities with clear-cut answers and suggestions for questions with various possible answers.
Letters home
Prewritten letters to parents in English only. These describe to parents what children will be learning in the unit to allow parents to become involved in their child’s learning.
Reading text summaries
Summaries of the reading texts found in the Student Edition in English only.
Graphic Organizer templates
These are a variety of worksheet templates for children to complete such as KWL chart, Venn diagram, 5W chart and T-chart.
Handwriting practice worksheets (lower grades)
Handwriting worksheets offer photocopiable pages which children can write on to practice letter formation and mark marking. These are provided in lower grades.
Fluency (upper grades)
Fluency activities are provided in the upper grades. These are a selection of activities that teachers can use to improve children’s fluency such as reading aloud from a newspaper, role plays, etc. There are suggestions to use with every unit. Many activity task types repeat.
