Maria's a beautiful woman who is married to Javier; a criminal and powerful man in the community. They live a luxurious lifestyle in a fabulous beach house in Mazatlán, Mexico. After waking up from a coma, caused by a horrific car accident, Maria is diagnosed with Amnesia.
