Liberty Lost In the mid-1600s an author named John Milton wrote a classic book called Paradise Lost. In this book he explained how Satan lost his place in heaven and Adam and Eve were so careless as to lose the Garden of Eden (paradise). This is a book called Liberty Lost, because we Americans do not even know it, but we too are carelessly losing paradise! Americans are experiencing the fruit of stolen foundations. America has been called the big experiment by some. For over 200 years the United States of America has been "The Shining Light on the Hill." What is not known is that the American Experience is the act of building a country on the principles of God and His truths. Historical statements like, "In God We Trust," or "Endowed by our Creator..." declare these facts. In this book, the author is pointing out three disappearing foundations that are being quietly removed, and the freedoms that rest on these pillars are disappearing as well.The erosion of creation by evolution The erasing of Christian history in America The "watering down'" of the precious Word of God Discovering how these tragedies have stolen our foundation for freedom is vital if there is any possibility of a return to liberty.
