Six teenage girls from different parts of the country share the same room. It's 1968 and the world is changing. They all come from poor families and are the firsts in their families to get a chance to study. In the middle of the semester, their teacher suggests performing The Tempest. The characters in the play and the personalities of the girls fuse together. The mood in the girls' dorm mixes with the social and political reality of the time.
