Our coloring, games and activities book shows you some of the native animals and insects of the area that you can color and read about. There pages to write down then draw a picture about your adventures to share with your family and friends. Now we are including a set of Word Bingo cards for the family to play while you are camping. The words for each game are on the website so you and your parents give it a read. Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area Flagler Beach - has a rich and unique history that has served the Flagler Beach area for years. The name is from a famous storyteller who drowned trying to save the life of a swimmer while he was camping in the area. The area was created as a rescue place for shipwreck victims in the 1800s, was a lookout station during War War II and was manned by the U.S. Coast Guard for a few years when it was first created. The main park consists of a beach side camping and recreational area until that stays full all year round. In the last two decades they were able to create a river side camping area with more sites, a large bathhouse and other great amenities.
