She is a doctoral candidate at the Bard Graduate Center. Susanna Brown is a curator and writer specializing in photography, fashion and portraiture. She was Curator of Photography, and later Senior Curator, at the V&A. She is the author and editor of numerous acclaimed books, including the V&A's Tim Walker, Cecil Beaton and Horst P. Horst monographs.
