Phuong T. Tran was born in Ho Chi Minh City, in 1979. He received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in electronic and telecommunication engineering from Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (a member of Vietnam National University at Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam, in 2002 and 2005, respectively, and the M.S. degree in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University, in 2013. He became Vietnam Education Foundation Fellow with Purdue University, USA, in 2007. He joined the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, in 2013, where he has been working as Vice Dean, since October 2014, and the Dean of the Faculty, since 2023. He is currently an IEEE Senior Member and the Head of Wireless Communications Research Group at Ton Duc Thang University. His research interests include performance analysis of wireless communications, stochastic optimization, and network information theory. Tan N. Nguyen was born in Nha Trang City, Vietnam, in 1986. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics and telecommunications engineering from Ho Chi Minh University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City in 2008 and 2012, respectively. He got his Ph.D. degree in computer science, communications technology and applied mathematics at VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, in 2019. In 2013, he joined the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, and has been working as Lecturer since then. His major interests are cooperative communications, cognitive radio, signal processing, and physical layer security. He started as Editor-in-Chief of Advances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AEEE) journal in 2023. He is now also an IEEE Senior Member, Head of the Advanced Intelligent Technology (AITECH) research group and Head of Communication and Signal Processing (COMSIG) research group at Ton Duc Thang University. Lam-Thanh Tu received the B.Eng. degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam, in 2009, the M.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Vietnam, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Paris Sud (Paris-Saclay University), France, in 2018. From 2015 to 2018, he was with the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Paris, as Early-Stage Researcher of the European-Funded Project H2020 ETN-5Gwireless. From 2019 to 2021, he was with the Xlim Research Institute, University of Poitiers, France, as Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. Since 2022, he has been with the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam. His research interests include stochastic geometry, LoRa networks, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, covert communications, and artificial intelligence applications for wireless communications. |
