Rich Théroux is an artist, writer, and self-described caveman with a quietly formidable talent for painting and drawing. His work hangs in homes and galleries, though he prefers understatement to acclaim. Rich teaches junior high art, where patience, wit, and survival instincts are essential tools. He is the author and illustrator of Stop Making Art and Die, and co-author of the poetry collection A Wake in the Undertow with his partner, Jess Theroux. He occasionally refers to himself as a "tomato can," for reasons best left unexplained. Rich and his gang co-exist in Calgary, Alberta.
