Jan Love Helgeson, born in Midland, Texas, is a dedicated mother of six and grandmother of 21. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Master's degree from Oral Roberts University. A retired public school teacher and former missionary to Mexico, Jan has also served as a pastor's wife and live talk show host in Texas. She is an accomplished author of four books, including Dusty Roads and Dandelions and Tell Your Heart to Beat Again. Currently residing near Flathead Lake in Montana, she is also a pianist, editor, and educator, actively serving on various executive boards.
